These are the commitments we made before writing a single line of code.
Your email content stays private
MailSeen never reads, stores, or analyzes the content of any email you send or receive. Tracking works entirely through pixel load events — we have no access to your words, subjects, or attachments.
Minimal data collection
When a recipient opens a tracked email we record a timestamp, an approximate location derived from their IP (country and city only), and device type. We never store recipient email addresses.
GDPR compliant by design
Our infrastructure is hosted in the EU. We support the right to deletion, provide transparent disclosures, and never sell your data to third parties. Privacy is a product requirement, not an afterthought.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256. Access to production systems is restricted and requires two-factor authentication.
