Getting started

How does MailSeen work?
When you send an email with MailSeen, a tiny tracking pixel is added to the message. When your recipient opens the email and loads images, MailSeen records the open and shows you a read receipt right inside Gmail — with an open count and timestamp.
Is it free to start?
Yes. Our free plan lets you track an unlimited number of emails with real-time open tracking and read receipts inside Gmail at no cost. Pro adds the invisible tracker, full tracking history, and daily email reports.
How do I install MailSeen?
Click 'Add to Gmail, free' and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. It takes less than a minute and lives right inside your Gmail inbox — no new tool to learn.

Privacy & tracking

Is my data private?
Yes. MailSeen never reads the content of your emails. We only record open events for the messages you send. We comply with GDPR and never sell your data to third parties.
Can recipients tell their email is tracked?
On the free plan, a small visible signature is added to let recipients know the email is tracked. Pro unlocks the invisible tracker, which adds nothing visible to your email.
How accurate is open tracking?
Open tracking relies on your recipient's email client loading images. Most clients load images automatically, so tracking is accurate in the vast majority of cases. Some clients block images by default, in which case an open may not be recorded until the recipient chooses to display images.

Mobile & compatibility

Does tracking work on mobile?
Yes. MailSeen works with the Gmail app on Android and iOS. You can send tracked emails from your phone and receive open notifications wherever you are.
Which browsers are supported?
MailSeen is available as a Chrome extension and works on any Chromium-based browser including Brave and Edge. A Firefox version is on the roadmap.

Billing

How do I cancel?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel Pro within 15 days of purchase, you are eligible for a full refund. Contact our support team and we will process it promptly.
